Courses and the exam

Courses and the exam:

• In order to take the courses you need documented practical experience from your employer
• The document must be signed by your employer
• The courses consist of necessary theory, and has a multiple choice exam at the end
• The courses have several slides with verbal explanation and some exercises along the way
• To start the multiple choice exam you need to go through the whole course. It is not possible to jump through the slides, but you can always go back
• You can divide up the course as you wish. When you log out in the middle of a course, you will be able to continue where you left off at the next login
• You have limited attempts to take the multiple choice exam, so it is important to obtain and process the information. If you do not pass more than three times, you need to take the whole course again
• After completing the scaffolding installer course and passing the final exam, the following documentations must be presented: Documentation that shows 6 months of work experience in a company which uses scaffolding or is otherwise related to scaffolding; Documentation that shows 72 hours of work experience with 3 different types of scaffolding. For the user course in lifts you need to present: Documentation that shows your knowledge of the main principles of operation of lifts, their technical specifications and safe operation. For the user course in scaffolding you need to present: Documentation that shows your knowledge of the main principles of scaffolding and safe operation of them.
• You can find templates for all the required documents when you log in in our system – they appear under “Your account”, under the name of each course program
• All documents must be signed by a competent person
• You need to answer correctly on 75 % of the questions on the exam
