About the courses
Scaffolding installer course We provide a quality assured interactive training course on scaffolding. The course is a 36-hours long theory course in scaffolding according to the Work Environment Act and the four regulations: Regulation on Organization, Management and Participation, The Workplace Regulation, Regulation on the Execution of Work, and the Producer Regulation (formerly Regulation on the Use of Work Equipment). The course covers the theoretical part required in order to become a scaffold installer according to the Regulation on the Execution of Work § 17-1 (the course was formerly called § 46C and § 13 course). The scaffolding installer course consists of several slides with audio. One can take the course whenever and wherever you want, as long as there is an Internet connection. You’ll have to answer multiple choice exercises along the way, and in the end there is one final examination. You need to pass it in order to get the course approved. Upon the completion of the course, there will be issued a certificate. If you wish to be issued a scaffolding certificate, you must also document the following: - at least 72 hours of practice work with an approved installer at 3 different scaffold types (a separate form needs to be filled out). - that you’ve been employed at least 6 months in a company that uses scaffolds (this must be confirmed by the employer) This course is available in Norwegian, Lithuanian, Estonian and Polish, English. |

Course on the Operation of Lifts Documented training according to the Work Environment Act, Regulation on Machinery and the Regulation on the Execution of Work (formerly Regulation on the Use of Work Equipment). You learn about working at heights and what equipment you should be using. In order to use a lift, it is required that you have documented training according to the regulations and the Work Environment Act. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that all personnel who work with lifts have documented training. Lifts are divided into three classes, and we’re offering training in all of them in the same course. Approved training is a requirement in order to use a lift. We are therefore offering courses on the operation of lifts that meet the requirements and which are also adapted to many different lift brands. Practice has to be documented by the employer. This course is available in Norwegian, English, Lithuanian and in Polish.

User training course on scaffolding Documented training according to the Work Environment Act and the four regulations: Regulation on Organization, Management and Participation, The Workplace Regulation, Regulation on the Execution of Work, and the Producer Regulation (formerly Regulation on the Use of Work Equipment). These regulations set requirements for work at height. The user course is adequate training for assembling scaffolds up to 5 m platform height. To be able to work on a scaffold (and assemble up to 5 m platform height), it is required that you have documented training according to the four regulations. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that all personnel who work with scaffolding have documented training. This course is available in Norwegian, Lithuanian, English and Polish. |

Course in fall protection A comprehensive course in fall protection. The course provides insight into relevant laws and regulations when working at height. It also provides information about different types of fall protection, as well as use and maintenance of different types of fall protection equipment. The course sheds light on the measures that can reduce the risk of a fall and that can minimize injury if a fall should happen. This course is available in Norwegian, English, Lithuanian and Polish. |

Course in Health safety environment when assembling modular construction This course is thorough and gives an introduction in HSE and the laws and regulations that are relevant for you. You learn about health, safety and environment in the workplace and how you as an employee/employer can contribute to implement measures and comply with instructions and routines. The course also gives you insight into the plans and overview, risk assessment and how you can handle and prevent emergencies. HSE makes the company a safer and better place! Introduction to health, safety and environment (HMS) Introduction to HMS is an introductory course in the HMS-regulations. In this course you will learn about the regulations that applies to Norwegian businesses in relation to their systematic health-, safety- and environment-work. The course also contains useful information about what to do in an emergency situation. This course is suited to those who want a basic understanding of the Norwegian laws and regulations, and for those who want to brush up on their HMS-knowledge. This course is not sufficient for managers. If you are a manager we recommend that you take the “HMS for managers”-course instead. This course is available in Norwegian, and English. |
